As every other photographer did, I pulled my camera out during the Solar Eclipse and shot a few photos. It was a great experience and I enjoyed viewing the rare phenomenon with friends and colleagues. I also thought it was fun to shoot everyone looking up at the sky too… Shot these on my Fuji XT-2 with a 16-55mm 2.8.Â

Little 5 Points in Atlanta is a photographer’s paradise. It’s filled with eclectic people and textures. I took my camera and my 50mm lens for a casual stroll on a Friday night and got captured some of that vibrancy.
A good friend lost her friend last week. His name was Barkley and he developed hemangiosarcoma in his heart and lungs. Fortunately I was able to get him into my studio (currently my living room) and we did a little photoshoot a few days before he passed. Here are a few favorites.

I was happy to shoot my friend Tanya’s engagement photos a few weeks ago at the Goat Farm and at the High Museum.

The rain came down and down. We tried exploring some different areas including Sullivan’s Island and Shem Creek but as you can in the pictures it was dreary and cold. We found good places to duck into and warm up and eat, so it wasn’t all bad. Be sure to check out day 1 and day 2.
On our second day in Charleston guess what we did… if you guessed walked around and ate food, you’d be correct. @jenamiller is really into food especially the delicious kind and Charleston is filled with good restaurants. I carried my camera and just explored the city through my lens.

Last year I spent 16 days on the road shooting commissioned art work for a corporate client. They wanted bright colorful images from around the Southeast to adorn their cafeteria walls. They gave me a few examples of stuff they liked and then set me free to photograph 6 cities and capture work worthy of printing 6 feet wide and framing. A tall order to say the least…
Did some acting headshots for the talented Elyse. It was cold and windy but we got some that we’re both happy with.

I had been wanting to check out Seattle for awhile, as I’ve heard amazing things about it and I’ve got a few friends there that I haven’t seen in years. I was also there to shoot some headshots for my friend Sarah.
