Mayan Ruins: Tulum

20080318-_MG_0077

So I visited the ancient Mayan Ruins of Tulum the last time I was down in Mexico, but unfortunately I had barely any time to shoot before getting ushered out by the guards. It was almost closing time when I got there.

The Tulum ruins are the third most-visited archaeological site in Mexico, after Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza. It is popular for the picturesque view of the Caribbean and a location just 128 km (80 miles) south of the popular beach resort of Cancún.
Here’s some more info about Tulum.

That last one is an unimpressive HDR attempt. I think it sucks, but I’m posting it anyway, just because.

  1. LOVE Tulum – is it not incredible??? And that cliff down to the beach is so “dizzying”
