I’m the founder of Create/Explore Workshops, based in Atlanta but excited about leading workshops all around the world!
I’m also the founder of Workshoppers.org, an interactive social catalog of workshops and seminars around the world. It’s a community designed to help passionate students find great workshops with talented instructors in amazing places!(coming summer 2010)
I’ve been a multimedia/technology “coach” for nearly 10 years. I started as a multimedia support specialist for the University of Arkansas before moving on to be the first multimedia coordinator at the renowned Santa Fe Photography Workshops for a few seasons including time spent shooting and educating in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I then got invited to the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine to manage a growing IT department that included 3 state of the art Photoshop/Lightroom learning labs. I’ve worked side by side with some of the best photographers in the world to help students learn the newest techniques of digital imaging.
My workshops specialize in post production, including digital file management and post processing using Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, and Photoshop. But that doesn’t mean we don’t shoot. I prefer my students to get out of the classroom and create new images so we have exciting new work to process!
