Ben Affleck does Keith Olbermann

]]> I enjoy cable news but there is definitely a difference between each major cable news network and I’m not going to try to persuade you to watch one over the other, but I do encourage you to not be stuck watching one network all the time. It’s important to be exposed to a variety of different ‘slants’. For example we all know FOX news leans republican and MSNBC leans democrat. So once in awhile, flip over to a cable news channel that you normally don’t watch, just to get a sense of what other people are seeing and hearing.

It will be no surprise that I choose to watch MSNBC and Keith Olbermann is a large part of that reason. I find him to be a very skilled anchor on his ideological show, “Countdown with Keith Olbermann”. He isn’t afraid of showing passion and certainly isn’t afraid of letting people know his opinion as you will see below.

So when I saw the Saturday Night Live skit with Ben Affleck impersonating Keith Olbermann, I thought it was so funny I had to share it.

For those who haven’t watched the show, watch the video below to see how well Affleck took Olbermann’s mannerisms and tweaked them just enough to be hilarious but not so much it drifts away from an impersonation!

]]> Jesus.  I have a few shows that I watch. House MD, Studio 60, Pysch, and The Office. I have each of these on my list of shows to record onto my DVR and once or twice a week I like to catch up on the episodes. However, the past two weeks the only show that has shown up on my DVR is The Office and it’s only 30 mins per week and last week was a rerun. Studio 60 is evidently ‘on hiatus’ and House must be in the offseason. I’m not sure why Pysch hasn’t come on. It’s just sad that nothing else is worth watching. I just want a few hours of entertainment per week and they can’t even do that for me.

It really pisses me off on how quick the stations pull the plug on new shows too. Maybe I’m just pissed at how dumb the average american must be to watch the crap that is on these days. Dancing with the stars? Deal or No Deal? I mean come on! It’s a bunch of crap!
