I grew up in a creative/entrepreneurial household in Arkansas but my adventurous nature has taken me all over North America including lengthy layovers in the deserts of New Mexico, the colonial mountain towns of central Mexico, the sunny beaches of the Yucatan Peninsula and the lobster villages on the coast of Maine. I've documented my exploration of Mexico's places and people in a book called "A Glimpse of Mexico". I'm lucky enough to see my photography featured by The Santa Fe Photography Workshops, The Maine Media Workshops, The Music Hall Concerts, Quest Magazine and Student Filmmakers Magazine.

As a video producer/director, I strive to create compelling stories. I've made documentaries, short films, commercials, various music promo materials including live concert dvds and an interview series called Bands and Their Vans. I spent 4 crazy years running the jumbo video boards and instant replay equipment for the University of Arkansas Athletics department and for 5 years I shared my expertise with faculty and students as a video support specialist at the Multimedia Resource Center.

I'm currently based in Atlanta, GA and look forward to chatting with you about your creative and technical needs.

You can find me other places on the net as well!

Skate park at night

I’ve been pretty busy preparing for my Lightroom Workshops and haven’t had time to post much lately.
I made a short trip to Arkansas back in Feb. and found a little skate park and decided to do some night photography of the skater kids doing jumps and tricks. It was fun and the kids were working...

Mr. Coffee

I haven’t yet bought an HD-DSLR so I haven’t been able to produce much video lately. However, I recently joined up with Sunny Tsui to shoot this fun little video as a production test of the Canon 5dmk2. I wanted a quick and easy project to figure out the workflow, so one night I was...

belief in god is no excuse for hatred

Lyla Morrison asked me to shoot a photo for a poster project designed with the goal of creating an impact and sparking discussion. I think we succeeded, what do you think?
This photo was done completely in camera with the only photoshop work being basic sharpening, color balance, and the text at the very bottom...

New Website for Project Tandem

So I know I’ve mentioned them before on this blog, but two of my friends from Maine made an 11,000 mile journey around the US to document what people are doing on a local level to help the environment.
Well, they’ve just launched a new version of the website complete with photos and audio and...

Arcade Fire CD Cover Mockup

I was asked by my friend, Diana, to help with the photography and photoshop composite work on a mock-up CD cover for a band called Arcade Fire. She created a logo and wanted the logo to be in the blown out smoke from a candle on top of a cupcake.
So, grab a cupcake (with...

Andrea Fremiotti Gallery at Big Studio

Lately I’ve been doing some freelance work for Andrea Fremiotti, who owns Burn Photo, and one of the things I did was help him prepare for a gallery show at Big Studio. I did the printing and coordinated the framing, designed and published a companion book, and then hung the show. The images are stunning...
