I used to write all the time. I felt a great pleasure in bringing the thoughts out of my head and into the world with the flair of dramatic writing. I don’t really write much anymore. As I’ve thought about why, I haven’t really been able to come up with any solid reasons other than I’ve changed interests.
Now I’m more likely to post a few pictures with a minimal caption than write a lengthy post with good writing. I still have the skill. I can write more creatively and more passionately than most everyone I know, but I don’t get as much joy in writing as I used to.
But nevertheless, I’m going to make an effort to write more often and actually say something with my prose rather than just rant about whatever is bothering me that day.
So in the coming months you can expect more posting on this blog in the form of writing instead of just pictures.
I also plan to bring back the random links I used to post, like the post before this one.
I’ll be changing the categories of this blog up as well. I have way too many and I will be combining them and redoing several other things too over the next several weeks.
