Killing time before the Friday Night Dinner!

So last friday while I was killing time before the party, I wrote about a lesbian wedding across the hall… (sorry deepdisch.net and facebook readers, I only posted it on myspace)

well tonight there was another wedding. This time I was hanging out in the hall watching the people arrive and then I see the bride and her father walk up and they are hanging out in the hallway, waiting to make an entrance. I’m just standing around looking like a jackass. The father is a large but not really that fat man of around 60 with a full gray beard. The daughter was slightly plump but still very attractive woman of around maybe 30.

Pretty soon I hear them announce the entrance of the Bride and Groom and the pair walks into the room holding hands and I hear great applause and see a million photo flashes. Way to go pops!

This week was much more relaxed than last week. I worked on my photography website some and just chilled out. But then last night tragedy struck. I was working on importing every photo I’ve taken into lightroom so that they can be automatically sorted by date and I was going to be very organized and then I was going to back the files up to another hard drive, so that I would be safe if a hard drive crashed. BUT thats right when my hard drive crashed. Right when I got the photos all on there, but before I could make a backup, the drive started making the really awful hard drive clicking of death noise and then just altogether ceased to exist. I turned everything off and then went to bed and cried myself to sleep. I’m hopeful I can recover the data, but we will just have to wait and see. It was about 35 gigs of photos. Most of them were garbage, but there was at least 6 of them that were worthy of being printed out and given as christmas presents to people who don’t really matter that much to me, but for some reason got me something for christmas.

I’m going to go eat a jalepano cornbread muffin and then go wait in the hall way some more.
