Interesting observation about my site…

So I was looking through my stats of this site and I noticed that my site is getting more hits the less I post new stuff. June and July have been my two biggest months in terms of visitors to the site, however, they have been the slowest months in terms of new content added to this site.

It’s also interesting for me to look back at my stats from the last year. DeepDisch.net went live in June of 2006 and had 19 unique visitors. One year later (June 2007) had 513. I’m not sure who those 513 people are, because I rarely get comments. But if you are reading this, especially if you are subscribed to the RSS feed, I would love for you to say hey with a comment.

On a very side note, I just saw my dog Charlie catch a fly out of midair and eat it.

One of my summer goals was to get my new photography site online with a great portfolio. Well, the summer has been a lot busier than I thought it would be and my free time hasn’t been spent working on it. However, I’m very motivated to get it online and hope that I will be able to make it happen soon.

    Wow, 513 is a lot of people. How does it count unique visitors? Sometime I visit your site at work, and sometimes at home, so does that count me twice? Also, I know that I am checking it more often now that you have moved away- it’s a good way to keep updated with how you are doing and sometimes is also very entertaining!

    P.S. I’ve got to get Charlie to teach Maggie and Daisy how to catch flies!
