hitting the road
I’m writing this quick post from my parents house where in a few short moments, i will heading to Santa Fe. My dad is going with me with towing a trailer full of stuff and I am driving my Trooper. later in the week my mom will drive my Eclipse out there and then ride back with my dad.
I’m having pretty strong emotional feelings about moving. It’s a lot harder to leave my friends than I thought it would be. I know I am making the right choice and will be ok with things very soon, but right now, I just have to keep my mind occupied with the task of moving across the country.
If you’re reading this and you are one of my friends, please know that I will need you as friends more so than ever over the next few months and years.
It looks like it’s about time to pull out, so goodbye Arkansas, hello New Mexico.
You’ve left. I’ve been wishing this day wouldn’t come for awhile but it did. I know this doesn’t help you any but I’m sitting here crying. Don’t worry tho, I do quit. I did this with Randy too. Just remember that we’re a few more miles away in distance but still just right next door when you need something. I love you. D
