My new favorite show- Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

If there is one show I’m excited about watching this year it is Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip. This is Aaron Sorkin’s new show. For those who don’t know who he is, he is the mastermind behind “The West Wing” and those who know me well know that I love the West Wing. I think it was the best show ever produced. So, needless to say, I’m pumped about his new show. It stars Matt Perry and Bradley Whitford as a pair of friends hired to run a live sketch show called Studio 60.

So, “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” will be a new show on NBC about producing a fictional show on NBS named “Studio 60? and in that fictional show will be skits made up to entertain the fictional audience and us – probably sometimes on different levels. (source)

The pilot episode comes on tomorrow night and you can bet I will DVR it and watch it after Monday Night Football. Well, it’s possible I will click over to it if the football game starts to suck. In either case, I’m sure the show will be a huge hit and will go on to cement Aaron Sorkin’s name in the genius books.
